OW! ii - el dolor fantastico
Jan. 7th, 2003 10:03 amSo, dancing @ DG last night, I realized I think I banged up my right shin or lower knee area pretty good 'cause it hurts to stand on it. But, like I dumbass, I continued dancing. It was one of those "I feel my age" things happening.
I think I'm going to start the day by stretching from now on. I figure I'd see a gray hair before feeling the pain of my age. Eh, no big deal. I'll just do what I have to and move on.
Got to talk a lot of shop last night... my shop I love you l33t hax0r6 out there, but I know very little about C/C++, perl, python, php, mySQL, Crypto at any 40 or 128-bit levels or beyond, VPN, the various *nix Distros, etc. The only thing I've ever been able to understand is that while using Microsoft IIS is just asking to have your backend r00ted, infected, and so on, people still use it.
I know a little and have a curious of an ear to listen in on the facinating coversations on the aformentioned subjects. But, last night I got to talk sserious audioshop with various people. One of them was someone I met through a friend in my theme camp. The short of it: He's starting a multi-channel audio technology company working on some cool hush-hush stuff, and wants to taks some of things he's working on and make a vision of it happen @ BM. From what we talked about yesterday, it will be really cool. I hope his plans work out, and I hope Ican be a part of them. The conversation I found to be rather invigorating.
Oh, still in a good mood, aside from the leg pain.
