Today's phrase is: ACTION TRANSVESTITE
Sep. 10th, 2003 09:23 amDrag + Steve McQueen, at least according to Mr. Izzard last night.
The show was great. It was different than going to see a stand-up at the punchline. Eddie had a sense of movement and crescendo, with quips thrown in to satisfy those of us who fly in the upper-echelons of intelligencia (whether or not we want to admit it.)
And I'm sure a few of us have blasted about this, well now it's my turn;
I had a nice chuckle at the fact that being in the front row, we had better seats than Robin Williams (row 3) or Lars Ulrich (row 4), not to mention, we actually paid the $65 + "pump my ass even more" service charges for our tix.
Crap.
Time to work.
Oh well, still smiling.
