Me at Pride tomorrow (w/ Pagan Alliance)
Jun. 26th, 2005 02:13 amI'll be working the donation booth tomorrow at SF Pride. We'll be at the booth next to the information booth, right across from the Asian Art Museum.
Also, Pagan Alliance are marching tomorrow, here's the info if your interested.
---------------------------------------------
Pagan Alliance will show Our Pagan Pride at the SF Pride Parade for the third year!!!! Stand Up-Stand Out-Stand Proud is the theme of the 35th Anniversary of the SF Pride Parade and Celebration.
If you wish to march in the Parade, Please meet Sunday, June 26th, at 10:00 on Beale Street between Folsom and Howard--Block M. If you do not see someone who is familiar, Please stay at this location. JoHanna, our Contingent Monitor and Aqcuistions Coordinator for Pagan Alliance, (a petite woman with long brown hair) will be there shortly after she visits 77 Beale Street to Pick up our Contingent Packet. We march at 10:30 am. (if you are running a little late, the parade may be running late too. Just find the group!)
We are 169 toward the end of the Parade between Long Beach LGBT Pride and Sacramento Pride. We are two away from Reykjavik Pride (may find some Pagans here!)
It has been requested that strong people help carry our banner down Market Street. It will be GREATLY appreciated.
Please dress in festive, in ritual or in clothing that expresses who you are. You can bring signs, flags, poi with streamers (no fire), instruments....The Parade will end with the Large Pepsi Truck with 10-foot tall tires, so we will be on TV--on at least 2 Channels.
Bring sunscreen and/or a parasol or hat, wear comfortable shoes and bring water. Today is overcast in the City but you will still dehydrate and sunburn with this type of weather.
