Note to self

Just a note to self, but figured, i'd share;

10 Most expen$ive places to eat.

their list is wrong. French Laundry should be #2, since it's $235 per person, without wine (not $135 as they said). and French Laundry is in Yountville, not SF.

worth it, though

They missed several places in SF worth noting along these lines.

Tommy Toys: http://www.tommytoys.com/ Amazing food. I had the signature dinner there and it was fantastic. Unfortunately, don't know the price per person but it was definitely more than what was listed for some of the other places.

Michael Mina: http://www.michaelmina.net/michaelmina/index.html We had the seasonal tasting menu ($135) with the wine pairings (I don't know how much that bumped it). Fantastic food and very worth it.

They missed Mary Elaine's, The Winter Degustation is $125 without booze. (we paid $24 for a margarita)http://www.thephoenician.com/pages/maryelaines/index.html
My Dad works at the resort, and even with his employee discount, we couldn't afford to eat there, and had to go to Windows On The Green instead.
