I can't sleep because it's hot. It's supposedly 71 degrees. I call shennanigans!! Feels like 85.

vampirequeen and I washed both cats, thinking the efforts would tire us out enough to go to sleep. (We also had rather strong drinks at a Thai restaurant beforehand.)

Nope. Still awake. My 'hot Colombian blood' that would normally assimilate to heat rather nicely is giving me the big 'fuck you' today.

I keep yawning, but the body won't sleep. And having my nekid ass stick to this leather seat isn't helping so I'm going to try something else to stay cool. What that is, I don't know. Maybe I'll stick a pound of ground kobe beef that's in the freezer on my yum-yums, hopefully soothing the heat beast keeping me in this conscious plane right now.

Anyone want to come over for hamburgers tomorrow? They'll be pre-seasoned ;-)

Ahh so it wasn't just me. I absolutely couldn't sleep. I was up at 2:30, 4:00, 5:30.. etc.

I hate it when it's hot.

Yeah, 71 degrees, my big black ASS! Last night was the first night I slept with the window next to my bed all the way open and nothing but a flimsy sarong between me and the bugs. It was easily 85 after midnight last night.

I like committing certain bastardizations in life. On friday, for example, I brought to a gathering a bottle of 12 year old single malt scotch to share. I don't the contents were ever poured into a glass; every body prefered the direct method. :)
