Maybe it's just me, but I find it's really too easy to blame the perpetrator while ignoring how and why a person could come to be so fucked up as to be capable of something like rape or molestation in the first place.

Me? I advocate understanding and insight that goes beyond the knee-jerk visceral gratification of outrage and hate.

There is always more than one 'victim' of such crimes. One is innocent, the other may have once been - however long ago.
