My mind went like this:
1. Hey, a rat
2. It's 8" big from nose to ass, not including the tail.
3. It's from "da outside"
4. Hey, it might bite me.
5. Hey, I might need shots.
6. Hey, I'm barefoot.
7. Hey I don't want a series of shots.
8. ^&*%*Y$#$^#&*$@!!!!!

What's better? Sticky paper trap, or the old-skool neck-breaker? Frankly, I think neither is humane, but just seems crueler to put the rat on sticky paper than to just kill it outright by having its neck snapped. And I don't want to leave out poisoned food.
