I'm sorry - could someone please 'splain to me what that sequence of numbers is, and what it means? Is it like those numbers from Lost?

The series of numbers (seen here is a hexadecimal code used to encrypt these Hi Def DVD's in order to prevent them from being copied or even played on anything except HD DVD authorized gear. Posting it all over the place caused a bit of nerd revolt on Digg a few days ago. And now this guy got a tattoo of it on his body..or so he says..I hope it just henna.
