I'm debating next laptop purchase here. I suppose if I wanted broadband mobile internet, I'd be SOL w/o one, however, I know the Treo's let you pipe into their data stream via usb...so...just wondering what ya'll thought.
While I'm at, can someone give me a real-life sensation that having upgrade from 1 MB L2 cache to 2 or 4 MB L2 cache made a difference? I'm sure I could run performance software, but did anyone find it easier for audio samples to load, virtual synths to perform, video/animation to render, code to compile...list can go on, with such improvements?
